Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Geetaverse mobile app by Bhaktin. By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

The Service

Geetaverse is a free app for reading and studying the Bhagavad Gita, including its Sanskrit text, transliteration, translations, and commentaries in multiple languages, along with personal study tools such as bookmarks, highlights, notes, reading progress, and streaks.

Accounts

• Some features, such as syncing your library across devices, require an account created with your email address.
• You are responsible for maintaining access to the email you use to sign in and for activity that occurs under your account.
• You must provide accurate information and be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the app or its backend.
• Upload or store content that is illegal, infringing, or harmful in your notes or profile.
• Abuse, overload, or interfere with the service or other users.

Your Content

You retain ownership of the notes, highlights, and other content you create in the app. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and sync that content solely to provide the app's features to you. You are responsible for the content you create.

Scripture Content & Intellectual Property

The Bhagavad Gita source text is a sacred, historic scripture. Translations and commentaries included in the app are offered for personal study and devotional use and may draw on public-domain or licensed sources. The Geetaverse and Bhaktin names, design, and software are the property of Bhaktin and are protected by applicable laws. You may not copy, redistribute, or commercially exploit the app or its packaged content except as permitted by law.

Free of Charge

The app is currently provided free of charge. If we introduce paid features in the future, they will be clearly described and optional, and these Terms will be updated accordingly.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that content, including translations and commentary, is complete or free of error.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bhaktin is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of or inability to use the app.

Termination

You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time — see the Account & Data Deletion page. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or where required by law.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
