Account & Data Deletion

This page explains how to delete your Hanuman account and the personal data associated with it, in line with Google Play and Apple App Store data-deletion requirements.

How to Request Deletion

Email us from the address associated with your account and we will process your request. Send an email to admin@bhaktin.com with the subject "Delete my Hanuman account."

Request account deletion

Please send the request from your account email so we can verify your identity. We will complete deletion within 30 days and confirm by email.

What Gets Deleted

When your account is deleted, we permanently remove:

• Your account profile — email address and profile identifier.
• Your daily practice log and recitation history.
• Your reading position and learn (memorization) progress.

What May Be Retained

• Data stored only on your device (app settings, bundled scripture content, and any progress recorded while signed out) is not part of your account. It is removed when you uninstall the app or clear its storage.
• We may retain limited records where required by law, after which they are deleted. Such records are not used for any other purpose.

Deleting Local Data Without Deleting Your Account

To remove the app's on-device data without deleting your account, open your device Settings → Apps → Hanuman → Storage and tap "Clear storage," or simply uninstall the app.
